- Sturdy metal adapter with comfortable weight.
- Decent fit for both lens and camera with little to no play.
the Bad:
- Autofocus confirm is inconsistent and unreliable (partly the camera's slow or unreliable autofocus detection, but mostly the chip - sometimes it errors out in the camera and requires a reboot sequence, while I know other users have reported far worse issues, such as bricking their camera entirely!).
- Lens release tab is horribly flimsy, starting to bend after just a few lens swaps (and I'm very careful with my equipment).
the Unfortunate:
- Way, way, way too expensive for what it is. Autofocus chips can be had for $20-30, and the quality of the components (both mechanical and electronic) do not seem to warrant the premium price.
In the end, I didn't have much choice - there are very few sources for Bronica/Canon lens adapters, and even fewer that reside in the US. If you can, try... Read more
